Plot[]

Gates and Miller return to base, with Miller yelling for sergeant Wilbur. As the two enter the base, they are shocked to see their sergeant with Claire. Claire arises from her knees and greets the two. Wilbur questions the two about their progress outside, trying to detach Gates and Miller from the images they recently saw. Nervously, Gates tells Wilbur about the Warthog's destruction. He also questions him about what he and Claire were doing, but Wilbur tells Gates that they were doing reconnaissance, still attempting to change the subject. Wilbur then tells Claire to go outside and check the Warthog, in which Claire willingly agrees. Now with Claire gone, Gates explains the events from the battle, with Wibur deciding to call an engineer for help as a result. Gates then again asks Wilbur what he was doing with Claire, but Wilbur reluctantly denies anything and runs outside.

Outside, Claire and Wilbur witness the wreckage of the Warthog. Wilbur tells her that they must radio HQ for an engineer. However, Claire informs him that the Red team's radio signal is offline, making it impossible to radio anyone. Miller informs Wilbur that he did steal the Blue team's tank starter, to give them more time. Meanwhile, Gates begins to interrogate Claire, until Wilbur interrupts them and gives each solider an assignment: Gates to spy on the Blues while atop the base, Miller to get the radio back online, and Claire to work with Wilbur on "reconnaissance". Gates teases Claire as she leaves for duty, with Claire teasing him back for being jealous.
