Mistaken Identity is the sixth episode of the second season of Sandguardians and the twenty-second overall.

Plot[]
A standoff ensues between Jason, Seal, and the unknown purple soldier. Jason and Seal attempt to make the soldier lower her weapon, but refuses to. She then threatens to kill Dax unless the three leave the area. While Jason agrees to her decision, Seal walks up to the soldier, realizing who she is. She tells him to step back, but Seal continues to move forward. As the purple soldier aims her shotgun closer to Dax's head, in response to Seal disobeying her orders, Seal recognizes the soldier to be Nash, an old friend of his. The purple soldier is reluctant at first to reveal herself but soon does so, after Seal recites the Guardian code, confirming his prediction of her.
Nash reunites with Seal, confused at the fact that he knows English. Seal states that he'll explain later, but for now, they must move to a more secretive location in order for them to make further explanations. Suddenly, Jason and Dax interrupt the two, and point out their confusions. Seal, in turn, introduces them to Nash, a fellow Guardian. Nash then gathers everyone up to regroup inside a temple. Before leaving, Jason and Dax discuss their concerns towards Nash, believing her to be untrustworthy. Jason then tells Dax that they must stick together, since they do not know much on Guardian history.
Meanwhile, in Sandbox, Ichabod completes his cleaning of the base and congratulates himself. He then hears a doorbell, but soon realizes that their base has no doorbell. Nonetheless, he approaches the entrance and meets the Guy in White, in which the latter tells Icky that he is looking for something. Icky, on the other hand, mistakes the Guy in White for the engineer and angrily leads him towards the tank, forcing him to fix it without tools. Frustrated, the Guy in White decides to stay with Icky, despite his annoyance of him, in order to gather more information on the location of his target.

- According to the Season 2 trailer, the Guy in White was originally supposed to meet Legend, rather than Ichabod.
- The title of this episode references Nash being mistaken as an enemy rather than a friend, as well as the Guy in White being mistaken as an engineer rather than a dangerous hit man.
