At Sandtrap, Dax, Jason, and Seal are seen continuing their journey to the rendezvous. Dax suggests certain music genres to play to Jason, but Jason simply dismisses all of Dax's suggestions. When the two get into an argument, Seal spots a Phantom. He suggests that three should investigate it in order to find clues about the Guardians. Dax agrees and drives the group towards the Phantom, but Jason feels unsure about it.
In Sandbox, Legend and Ichabod discuss on where to place a wall to the base. Unbeknownst to them, the Guy in White watches nearby. The Guy in White searches for Seal through his visor, but is unable to locate him. His visor informs him that his target, Seal, may possibly be dead. However, the Guy in White follows his instincts and believes that Seal is still alive somewhere, stating that his blood is still fresh. He then activates a sonar device and commands it to scan the area within 2 square miles. A Hornet suddenly arrives near Blue base, dropping off an engineer. As the engineer begins to head to Blue base, the pilot of the Hornet does not move. The engineer, knowing that the pilot is afraid of the Guardian Towers, tells him that since the Towers were previously firing extensively they are most likely charging up their lasers. The pilot then leaves and is soon shot down by the Towers, proving the engineer's theory wrong.
The engineer suddenly finds the Guy in White behind him. The Guy in White asks for the engineer's name, in which the engineer replies: "Ollie". Ollie tries to leave, but is stopped by the Guy in White, who reveals himself to be a Hitman. He tells Ollie why he loves his job and that he received a masters degree in identity theft. Ollie begs for mercy, but the Guy in White unsympathetically kills him out of enjoyment.
